EDIMS, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Clinical Support Specialist.
This candidate will be part of the EDIMS clinical support team responsible for data management
and the integration of information technology into healthcare.
Essential Tasks
- Participate in the development of clinical software
- Data management
- Participation in the QA of the software
- Interact with clients in software development and deployment
- Provide on site support to clinical and non clinical customers during deployment
- Provide on going support to sites where EDIM product is deployed
- Participate in analysis ED operations and process to ensure seamless transition to EMR
- Knowledge of HIPAA, EMTALA, JCAHO and state DOH requirements
- Travel
Education and Work Experience
- Current valid RN license
- Experience with ED EMR
- Experience or certification in clinical informatics
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented and proficient computer skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience with Emergency Department operations and process
- Valid drivers license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to reach, bend, and walk
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
- Ability to use five finger manipulation over extended periods
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
